About Me
My name is Ross Poulton, hence rossp.org. I'm a 20-something IT consultant living in Melbourne, Australia. My interests are computers and IT, a bit of surf lifesaving here and there, and spending quality time with friends and family. I also very much enjoy listening to music (with a bit of a motto of listening quality is better than quantity/volume), taking photos, and dabbling in a little bit of home-brew beer.
Monday to Friday, I'm a CRM consultant for the Melbourne office of a company which provides ERP, CRM, BI and infrastructure systems to the Australian mid-market. This has me writing specifications and proposals for development work, training users in best practices for our software, implementing CRM projects, and all sorts of other fun stuff.
I'm currently studying towards a Bachelor of Business part-time at Swinburne University. I started working immediately after completing high school, and recently decided a tertiary education was a good idea. Unlike many university students I'm not there so I can get a job, but rather to broaden my horizons a little and expand my understanding of business theory.
I can always be contacted via e-mail, by e-mailing ross at rossp dot org. I'm also on Twitter as @RossPoulton. Please don't add me on Facebook unless we're actually friends, or to LinkedIn if we aren't working together.
